The last ten years has seen Hurghada change from a small fishing village one of Europes Top holiday destinations. Hurghada now has over 200 hotels, with shopping promenades and a vibrant nightlife. With tourist increasing each year and boasting a perfect climate, Hurghada has no off season.

One of Hurghadas main attractions is the is the warm blue waters of the Red Sea. You can enjoy most water sports such as; windsurfing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, swimming, but above all, snorkeling and diving. The Red Sea is also adeal for many varieties of rare fish and of course the coral reefs. The underwater gardens offshore are some of the finest in the world, that’s why diver return each year.

The official population of Hurghada is more than 180 000, with a large percentage working in the tourism sector. Other industries include mining, fishing and construction. Many foreigners who have visited Hurghada over past few years work mostly in water sports, real estate and the nightlife business. The different foreign communities are a combination of Russians, Germans, Eastern Europeans and British.

The city of Hurghada has many attractions; The busy Sheraton Road with its bazaars, coffee shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, restaurants and night clubs. You can also  visit the new city promenade by the marina with luxury yachts and apartments. There are also many shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Its a great place for an evening stroll and just view the sites.

Another famous touristic area is the Village road (El Memsha in Arabic). With its 5 km long promenade with 4 stars hotels, nightclubs, restaurants, small-type shopping centres and shops.

You can also visit El Dahar, where most of the locals live. You can discover touristic and not so touristic areas. If interested in shopping, Dahar offers you streets full of bazaars and if you are prepared to haggle, you could snap up a bargin.

Hurghada International airport is situated in the heart of Hurghada. Therefore, many resorts are only a 5 minute drive.  Hurghada also has massive coast-line offering a variety of properties to both the investor and lifestyle client. You can choose from many differnt locations which will reflect in the price,  purchasing property from £10,000 to £500,000. Properties are mostly off plan.
